HIGH PERFORMANCE HEAD
for MM & SX

 

Our billet heads reduce detonation & greatly enhance cooling while increasing bottom and mid-range horsepower. Detonation is reduced while compression is increased by virtue of computer aided combustion chamber design. The result is more compression and a correct squish band; a feature that can’t be duplicated by milling your stock head. Each size combustion chamber is a unique design, not just a cut down version of some other size. Cooling is enhanced by increasing water contact with the combustion chamber by stair-stepping the chamber sides (something that can’t be duplicated in a cast head). Replaceable chambers are available in 1cc increments. All heads are polished & anodized for durability and continued great looks. The Head design features a 2 piece shell (top & bottom halves) and 3 replaceable domes. 

  • OEM MM/SXr chambers are 23.8cc's
  • Sizing recommendations: 
    • 0-2000ft 22cc
    • 2000-6000ft 21cc
    • 6000-10,000ft 20cc
    • Typically subtract 1cc for porting.

Use / reuse stock head gaskets (not included). The upper & lower halves use O-ring seals along with chamber inserts.

VIPER & SRX BILLET HEAD EXTREME COOLING

    SRX OEM Chambers are 26cc

V-FORCE DELTA-3 REEDS

The new VForce Delta 3s. This new and improved version has continued to build upon the industry leading design that doubles the reed tip surface of a standard reed valve. The advantages of doubling the reed tip surface are numerous. On a VForce, with it’s less restrictive design, the reed petals only travel half the distance of a standard valve resulting in greater airflow through
the entire RPM range and increasing reed petal life. Throttle response and horsepower is greatly increased with the addition of a VForce, along with fuel economy. 

Exclusive to the VForce 3 is a patent pending snap together cage design that utilizes symmetrical reed petals, eliminating the need for different “inner” and “outer” replacement petals. Also new is the patent pending reed tip shape that accelerates the air mixture over the reed tips, ensuring increased airflow for
increased horsepower. The new design also completely eliminates the need for screws.

REED SPACER KIT FOR ALL YAMAHA TRIPLES

   
The reed cage on the MM/SX(r) blocks off the Intake port feeding the rear of the cylinder, resulting in restricted fuel flow. Spacing out the reed cages gives the air and fuel a much straighter path to this rear port. By smoothing out the fuel flow you gain 3hp at low/mid and 1hp top end, plus the steady slow speed burble at low end is nearly eliminated, resulting in improved throttle response. Kit comes complete with longer bolts, 6 OEM gaskets, and spacers. Works great with V-Force and Carbon Tech reeds.

Now you don't have to take the carbs off to adjust your fuel screws. These remote adjusters are easy to install, mounting above the carbs for easy access. Turn by hand for easy adjusting. Works with all Yamaha 3 cylinder carburetors. Unlike many similar products, these adjusters replace the existing adjuster needle, which results in quick installation and continued easy adjustment. POWDER PRE-FILTERS

These Pre-Filters are designed to keep snow and water from getting to, and clogging, the pleats of air filter elements. The unique polyester material contains uniform openings. These openings allow air in, yet keep the snow out and off! This keeps your sled breathing great in the deepest of powder. SRX COLD AIR INTAKE KIT

The SRX Cold Air Intake Kit offers a great solution for the SRX’s air intake problem in deep snow. It features a foam seal between the air box and hood, an ABS plastic scoop that mounts in front of the gauge pod, includes a filter element that fits inside the new scoop.

Viper, SRX & Mountain Max / SX(R) PORTING

All of our porting is CNC’d and operates at stock RPM. Unlike other porting, this adds bottom and midrange pull as well as top end horsepower. When you're done you have a very noticeable gain in performance while leaving you with stock-like reliability because it runs at stock RPM (8500). Ports are CNC’d for maximum flow & consistency. Clutching & jetting are required to get the full benefits of the Porting along with 91-octane fuel (min).

Viper porting adds 7HP and 5ft-lbs of torque 

MM adds 12 horsepower and 8 ft-lbs of increased torque

VIPER & SRX 835cc MOUNTAIN BIG BORE 

Who says there’s no 800 Yamahas to compete with the other brands? We’ve got your 800+cc right here. 178 HP and 110 ft-lbs. Don’t settle for a little Big Bore when you can have an 835cc Monster on pump gas. Boring and nicasil-ing alone damages the cylinder structure. We install new sleeves for the durability required. While it’s often easy to make HP by raising the compression, this Big Bore does it on lower compression and is pump gas safe. You get tons of raw power from the larger bore, unique port design, and an exclusive cast piston, which have proven better than forged pistons on this torque monster. Complete kit includes modification of your cylinders (Cylinder Porting & Steel Sleeves), Custom Cast Pistons (with rings, wrist pins and circlips), modification to your head(s) and power valves plus gaskets (2 base gaskets, shim, and O-rings). Exchange possible.

On SRX only, we recommend this kit be used in conjunction with the SRX Big Bore Pipes. Viper pipes (listed on the Exhaust / Pipes Page) work perfectly for the 835cc Viper (in fact the Viper pipes were designed with the 835 in mind).

Case Porting and Crank Welding are highly recommended. Complete motor assembly is also available. Case porting is worth another 10HP with Big Carbs and the throttle response is out of this world!!!!
