MPI BILLET RAILS
(Fits all Yamahas - MM/MViper/RX-1/SX/SRX)

The new MPI billet rails are lightweight, strong and look awesome. The rail is designed for use on any of the three Yamaha Rear suspension designs (MM, Mountain Viper or Mountain RX-1). The holes used for bogies and control rods are only piloted with a 1/8" hole so if you are not using wheels, you don't have the unsightly holes. The I-beam and the rear flag sections are milled out to save weight while maintaining strength. All rails use full length slides. Long slides & hiperfax are available from MPI. These rails will bolt right on to your existing skid frame. Use in conjunction with our lightweight skid for an even greater weight savings. Rails are machined from 6061 T-6 Aluminum for maximum strength. Big rails for 8” rear wheels also available.
151 & longer rails include special rear bump stops.
For extreme use add rail stiffeners. These 7075 aluminum bars sit under the rear bump stops to further stiffen the rail.

MPI RX-1/MM/Mtn VIPER
LIGHTWEIGHT SKID

| The new MPI Lightweight Skid can save over 40 pounds. The all Chrome-Moly / Billet Skid was inspired by the RX-1, but models are available for the MM and the Mountain Viper as well. The base kit replaces all the steel
components with Chrome-Moly and incorporates MPI’s transfer kit, which enhances weight transfer. Bushings, bolts, rivets and limit straps are also included. Billet aluminum H-Arm mounts and rear drop brackets are included. The MM version also includes a billet upper shaft. See below for a detailed description of the H-Arm.
All
Chrome-Moly pieces are powder coated. All components have been endurance tested for the RX-1, MM and Viper. Benefits include reduced weight, improved ride quality and improved weight transfer.
The base skid kit saves over 30 lbs. Additional savings are available with Billet Rails & Titanium Springs. A Mountain Performance 159” RX-1 Rear Skid with Billet Rails and Ti Springs saves 42.3 pounds, weighing in at just under 40lbs.

NEW ALL Cr-MOLY LIGHTWEIGHT H-ARM
KIT
|
This new
arm is not just another Cr-Moly H-Arm. We used round Cr-Moly tubing
instead of box tubing like similar arms that are available. This increases
the strength by 2.5 times. Our arm weighs just 4 pounds. BUT WE DIDN'T
STOP THERE. To further increase the strength, we narrowed the foot of the
H-arm necessitating new lower H-Arm mounts to connect the arm to the
rails. So we added Billet Aluminum Mounts and replaced the steel collars
with aluminum ones. But that wasn't enough, the OEM limit strap assembly
is also quite heavy, so we redesigned it also.
The outcome is an H-Arm assembly that SAVES
6 POUNDS. The kit includes the H-arm, 2 Billet Mounts, 2 Billet
collars, 6 bushings 2 limit strap assemblies and all new nuts and bolts.
Our straps are stronger and our mounting system is much lighter
The new Cr-moly lightweight front H-Arm has the same
dimensional characteristics as the OEM factory H-arm used on the 00/04 MM, Mtn Viper and RX-1.

| The Transfer Enhancement Kit
replaces the OEM Control Rods or (Aftermarket Adjustable Control Rods).
The result is a 5 pound savings, more transfer and more fun. The kit
allows the rear suspension to compress the rear shock without compressing
the center shock. The results in the ski lift you've been looking for.
Seven adjustments allow you to dial the exact amount you ski lift you're
been looking for. The kit works well on the 141 Mountain Max, but it
excels on 151 and longer MMs and Mtn. Vipers and if you've got a RX-1
Mountain this kit is a must. Slow speed ride on the trail is actually
improved.
The kit is simple and works great. With the difference it makes, you'd

LIGHTWEIGHT REAR BRACKET KIT
|

The OEM rear brackets offer a gold mine of weight savings potential. The
rear brackets on a Mountain RX-1 weigh 8.2 pounds and the rear brackets on
an MM or Mtn Viper weigh 4.2 pounds.
Our billet rear brackets weigh less than 1/2 of stock. With the RX-1 kit
tipping the scale at just
3.9 pounds (a 4.3 pound savings) and the MM/MV at just 2.0 pounds (a 2.2
pound savings). Both kits include all the required mounting hardware. The
brackets are provided in an attractive bright billet finish.

All MPI Rail Kits are made of 6061 T-6 Aluminum. They
include all necessary hardware for mounting. Hardware kits vary based on
length. All extensions over 1" have a nub machined to fit into the
OEM adjuster slot for added strength. Every combination of extension
exists. Extensions 3.3" and longer have and extra 1/2" of
adjustability.

Replace all 30 of your rear skid frame bushings with new OEM bushings. The kit includes all 30 bushings at a significant discount. The kit saves money and the pain of specifying each individual bushing one by one.
